Rotary Park

HJ Welch Rotary Park is a beautiful beachfront venue in Qualicum Beach perfectly suited for your wedding, birthday, anniversary, retirement, celebration of life or any special event!

It features a basic kitchen, professional bbq’s, washrooms, gorgeous artificial turf lawn, a covered area, and fantastic sunsets.

Please note that kitchen is not authorized to use of food preparation for food to be sold to the public.

Rental period is from 10 am to 11 pm
Daily rate for Monday to Thursday is $600.00
Daily rate for Friday to Sunday and statutory holidays is $850.00 or $1500 for two consecutive days.

The family of Rotarian Herb Welch donated the waterfront property now known as H.J. Welch Memorial Park. Work to open this park was started in 1979. Every year since Rotarians have made improvements to this facility with some new construction or remodelling features to make the park an ideal location to enjoy our beautiful waterfront.

There have also been times when the tides and wave action have damaged the sea wall and waterfront facilities. Rotarians have had to maintain the property and keep Rotary Park an attractive destination for community groups.
